Most clutch WNBA player?

I saw this blog post the other day on Ballers, Gamers, and Scoundrels listing the top 10 most clutch athletes ever.

Tiger was #1, Michael Jordan #2, and Joe Montana #3.

One woman made the list: Florence Griffith Joyner (#9).

Not that I can think of any glaring female omissions, but I wondered which other women might be worthy of that list. The author admitted that he did not know all sports (he mentioned the NHL).

Any WNBA'ers? Or female college athletes?

So what makes it hard to put her on that list is the length of her career in the states...and I never saw her play overseas.

I figure athletes like John Elway belong on that list too and comparatively guys like Elway and Reggie Miller had more clutch moments than Coop, right?

For the same reason, I'd take Phelps off the list...and add Elway.

Diana Taurasi -- especially in 2002-03 (think regular season v. TN and comeback v. Texas in the semis) and 2003-04.

I was just gonna say, Cynthia Cooper comes to mind. Clutch meaning a will to do what ever it takes, put the team on your back and win. With the Comets They had Great Success & Championships? Got those, Baby!! Believe it!! She was very good in College, who cares what she did in Italy before the W -- All you need to know is She is Clutch!!!!

im a female. and personally im a huge fan of the game of basketball. i love watching the NBA and the wnba...but y dont we get much attention? the money wnba players get a season is prolly wat kobe or lebron or iverson etc. gets a game. y do people make the wnba such a joke? i mean im a girl and i want basketball to be my future and i wanna play in the wnba :[
